Welcome,

How it all started...

I’d always liked the idea of personal training but was too scared to make the leap, I’d always had a good job in Marketing; I thought that’s where I would remain but the stressful commuting lifestyle, boozy nights & lunch from Pret five days a week meant I was another woman struggling to lose weight & keep in an exercise routine. I’d always admired people who managed to eat clean, keep to an exercise plan & didn’t fall off the wagon every Thursday night.

Just like me, I see so many people wanting to improve their lifestyles, feel better about the way they look & gain control over their eating habits. I’ve
always been very keen on emotional behaviour & what habits make some people so successful & disciplined?

Over the years I’ve spent my time educating myself not only around physical fitness but the coaching side of things too, including how to change habitual habits that can make the difference between meeting goals & not.

As I was approaching my 14th year in Marketing, (after much thought), I decided to take the plunge & become a Personal Trainer. My passion is firstly helping others see what is possible – whether that’s getting through a workout you never thought possible or attending that first park run by providing the support & tools to enable forever success by improved lifestyle habits – there is one small caveat you do need to step outside the comfort zone & see what you’re truly capable of.

The story so far…

I’ve always been a runner, not naturally gifted, but a runner none the less. In my younger years, I was pretty hardcore, long before it got fashionable to run. My obsession started in primary school around 6 years old, I wanted to be seen as strong enough to compete in the school sports day races. As I got
older, I managed to prove my strength & gained a real buzz from being good at something, I enjoyed the improvements of consistent effort made & I’m still the same now.

Running aside, throughout my adult years I’ve tried most exercises & diets, and I’ve been a member of various gyms with limited success - as I’m sure most can appreciate. I never really considered myself to have an unhealthy body image or guilt around the food I was eating, but I did - I wasn’t the way I wanted to look/believed I should look, I spent years trying new things & not being able to sustain a consistent approach to truly get the results I really wanted – until I found a Personal Trainer.

Personal Training with a coach helped me focus on my goals, gain confidence in the gym & my own ability to push myself, plus I had access to the expertise to ask questions and try different things, which helped me stay on track. I monitored my results in a controlled way and I found I was starting to see real improvements & finally understand which actions drove the best results for me. This is when the results came – of course, this took many failed attempts & weight gain along the way, but overall, results did come.

It is true – the path to success isn’t easy, but who wants it to be easy?

Being a Personal Trainer that has overcome my own struggles, I can help you quickly identify the key areas that will get results the quickest, support you in your training/ lifestyle choices & get you looking & feeling even more fabulous.
